Levi & Korsinsky, LLP is investigating possible misleading advertising of LashFood enhancer and conditioner products. Specifically, LashFood Lash Enhancer claims to be a drug-free, natural way to grow longer, thicker, stronger lashes in just 4 weeks. Claiming to be a “breakthrough” formula developed by scientists and clinically proven, LashFood’s Phyto-Medic Eyelash Enhancer costs $78.00 for just 0.10 ounces.
LashFood Natural Eyelash Conditioner, selling for $120, claims to “drastically improve” lash appearance “within just 4-8 weeks.” LashFood’s BrowFood product similarly claims to be a “formulation of organic medicinal extracts” that “minimizes brow loss and triggers the natural growth of brows,” and sells for $88.00 for 0.17 ounces. However, while LashFood promises consumers clinically proven results in just one month, these products contain no “breakthrough” ingredients that have been proven to improve the appearance of lashes or brows in one or even two months.
