Airlines aggressively sell travel or flight insurance with the sale of airline tickets. The insurance policies are often issued by AIG Travel Guard and Allianz Global Assistance. Moreover, the airlines do not allegedly have licenses to sell insurance. As a result, you may have overpaid for the travel insurance.
